Guest Access

As a guest of the Yurt, you have access to the private yurt, the property around the yurt, as well as the fully amenitized bathroom in the basement of the main house.

    • Cooking utensils, kitchen stove, oven, refrigerator, dining table and chairs

    • Fire extinguisher, first aid kit, smoke detector

    • Heated by wood-burning stove

    • Private entrance

    • One cozy 24 sq foot room with a sky-dome roof

    • Heated by wood-burning stove (firewood included)

    • Drinkable well water and simple cooking setup

    • Queen-sized bed, kitchen table, armchairs, writing table

    • Basic linens and eco-friendly toiletries

    • Internet access in the basement of the main house

    • Free parking on premises

    • Full kitchen

    • Running water

    • Refrigerator

    • Oven and stove

    • Cooking basics

    • Dishes and silverware

    • Space where guests can cook their own meals

    • 200 feet from the Yurt

    • Access is through a private entrance in the main house

    • Shower, toilet, and sink running hot water

Guidelines

    • April 1 to October 30: $95 USD per night

    • October 31 to March 30: $120 USD per night (rate includes snow removal, wood, and preparing the Yurt to be warm when guest arrives)

    • 50% of the total amount is due at time of reservation.

    • The remaining amount is to be paid 7 days before arrival.

    • Refunds available 7 days prior to booking date.

    • 2-night minimum

    • 15% discount for 7+ day stay

    • Check in: 3pm

    • Check out: 11am

    • Children are welcome

    • Pets not allowed

    • Smoking not allowed

    • Wheelchair inaccessible

    • Scent-free, smoke-free

  • We love this patch of earth, and we ask that you help us keep it healthy and happy. 

    Water is precious: Conserve water while washing or cooking. We live on watershed land, avoid plastic and bottled water; our well water is drinkable and delicious!

    Wildlife friendly: Store food securely inside the Yurt. Do not feed animals. No smoking cigarettes or e-cigarettes in the Yurt or on the Yurt property.

    Chemical-free toiletries: Use only what we provide or bring biodegradable, chemical-free, and scent-free products. 

    Leave no trace: Pack out all trash, compost, and recycling using provided waste bags. 

    Fire safety: In the winter months, your host will start a fire in the Yurt to have it warm upon your arrival. Use the wood-burning stove and kitchen stove responsibly. Never leave the wood-burning stove unattended. Follow posted fire-ban rules, and inform your host of any issues. Fire extinguisher is on site under the kitchen sink.

    October 31 to March 30: $120 USD per night (includes snow removal, wood, and preparing the Yurt to be warm when guest arrives)

    💸 Payment & Cancellations:
    50% of the total amount is due at time of reservation.
    The remaining amount is to be paid 7 day(s) before arrival.
    No security deposit required. 

    100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 7 days before arrival or earlier.
    0% refundable if canceled after.

    Please report any damage or issues. Renter assumes responsibility for personal safety and loss or damage of personal belongings. The Yurt host is not liable for accidents, injuries, or lost items.


    By reading and reviewing these policies, you, future Yurtling, agree to the terms of this rental and will care for the Yurt and forest with respect and love.

It's important that guests of the Yurt are a good fit. If it is your first time staying at the Yurt, your host will be in touch with you once you book, and again the week of your arrival to ensure you're all set for the magic that awaits!
